Dirty Polli's Skate Away Champions at the Battle for the Boobs! Print

Dirty Polli'sThe Dirty Polli's showed Anchorage why they deserved to be the Season 3 champions by remaining undefeated through the Battle of the Boobs Tournament on May 14th, 2011. The tournament consisted of three 30-minute bouts between the Dirty Polli's, the Sockeye Sallys, and the Devil's Club!

In the first bout of the night, the Sockeye Sallys jumped to an early double-digit lead against the Devil's Club, but the Devil's were able to come back and retake the lead about midway through the bout. The Devil's Club were able to maintain the lead until the very last bout where the Sallys tied up the score, and had just enough time to make it around the track to pull into the lead 60 to 57 in the last 10 seconds of the jam! Truly an exciting bout, and a well-deserved first win for the Sockeye Sally's!

The second bout of the evening pit the Devil's Club against the Dirty Polli's. The Polli's took an early lead and kept increasing that lead throughout the bout. However the Devil's Club never gave up and made the Polli's work hard for every point, but in the end simply could not make up any ground, losing to the Polli's 78 to 15.

The final bout of the evening pit the two winning teams, the Sockeye Sallys against the Dirty Polli's. However once again, the Dirty Polli's secured the lead and never let it go, winning the bout and securing the championship 99 to 29!

With a portion of the proceeds from this bout, Rage City was able to donate $350 to the Tundra Women's Coalition! In addition, we asked, and our fans responded! Rage City's awesome fans donated 120 new or gently used bras for Anchorage's Abused Women's Aid In Crisis (AWAIC) Shelter, some of them off their backs at the bout!

Thank you to all of our wonderful fans who attended, we appreciate all of your support for this bout and all of our bouts this season! We'll be back in October for Season 4, so be sure to watch this website, Facebook, or Twitter for the latest news on that and our summer events!
